Build To Stay develops communities of purpose-built, luxury vacation rentals in top U.S. leisure markets

OUR APPROACH

Build To Stay (“BTS”) focuses on developing communities of premier single-family, detached homes that are designed for hospitality, with features such as large common areas, evenly proportioned bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and private resort-style amenities. These purpose-built properties provide a unique luxury setting for group travel, couples retreats, special occasions, weekend getaways, family reunions, and corporate offsites.

This community development approach creates win-win solutions for vacation destination travelers, municipalities, and local residents. These purpose-built communities provide additional luxury accommodations for premium travelers, drive additional economic development and lodging tax revenue for municipalities, and locate vacation homes in separate, professionally managed communities that do not infringe on the neighborhood experience of existing residents.

Our Story

BTS was founded in 2021 by Jerry Coleman, Jay McKee, Sean Breuner, and Andy Warren to capitalize on changing shifts in consumer preferences related to vacation accommodations in a similar way that the single-family rental (“SFR”) sector emerged from small changes in consumer preferences related to home ownership.

The BTS founders have assembled a best-in-class team and group of advisors with specific expertise in hospitality, real estate, private equity, and venture capital to pursue the development of premier SFL homes.
